Prepare a local build for hosting

This page concerns the knowledge-base application. Framework candidate packaging and actual release approval are separate; see maintenance.

Steps

Read the deployment runbook, run all local checks, import approved documentation, and create an independent application backup. Confirm public/ as the only document root and writable private state as owner-only.

composer test

Provision the host and accounts only after explicit deployment authorization. Set STAGE/PROD independently, require HTTPS, verify proxy trust, and retain the provider-off default unless the AI activation checklist is separately satisfied.

Verify

Exercise native cookies, CSRF, denial paths, host rewrites, disk/storage failure, budgets, backup restore, and mobile install on the actual approved host. Local success is not production deployment or live-provider certification. See Release checklist.
